Travelers, as part of an online survey, shared where the friendliest aborigines live, according to OneTwoTrip.
The company's specialists conducted a study among 2,436 people and found that the most favorable impression on tourists was made by Italians – this was the answer of 13 %. 11.5% of respondents pointed to the hospitality of Georgians, and 8% rated the goodwill of the residents of Turkey. About four percent of the respondents were satisfied with the residents of Spain, Germany and parts of Greece.
In Russia, the friendliest natives live in St. Petersburg – this is what every fifth (22 %) tourist thought. 15% of travelers managed to feel the kindness and openness of Sochi residents, and 14% of Kazan residents. Only 3% of respondents called residents of Vladikavkaz and Kaliningrad hospitable.
The majority (88 %) of tourists stressed that they like to communicate with the locals. The main topics of conversation are local attractions and national cuisine.
Interestingly, half (55 %) of travelers keep in touch with new acquaintances from other cities even after returning home.
